Build and Kill Zombies beginner guide

A short route from the official gameplay loop to your first measured, repeatable build decision.

Current answerBuild a working car, add one weapon and one defense, run a controlled wave attempt, record cash and failure wave, then upgrade the bottleneck you actually observed.
Official gameplay loop

Build a car → add weapons and defenses → crush zombie waves → earn cash → upgrade the build.

Your first five runs

  1. Make the smallest working carLearn placement and movement before spending every unit of starting cash.
  2. Add one damage sourceA single weapon makes its contribution easier to observe than a mixed wall of parts.
  3. Add front-facing defenseThis is a strategy hypothesis based on the vehicle-wave loop; verify where enemies actually make contact.
  4. Record the failureWrite down the wave, cash, vehicle durability and the reason the run ended.
  5. Upgrade the bottleneckIf enemies reach the car too quickly, compare DPS. If the car survives contact poorly, compare defense.

Early mistakes to avoid

  • Changing weapon, chassis and defense together, then guessing what helped.
  • Calling a high-cost item “best” without comparing its sustained output or survival effect.
  • Using a guide for the older, similarly named Roblox game.
  • Treating a metadata update date as proof of a specific balance change.
What is Build and Kill Zombies?
A Roblox vehicle-build survival experience by Zombie Car Crusher. Players build a car, add weapons and defenses, fight zombie waves and earn cash for upgrades.
What should I upgrade first?
Upgrade the constraint your run revealed. Use observed incoming pressure, durability and income instead of a universal tier list.
Is there a best build?
A best build requires a target budget, target wave and verified current part stats. Use the planner to make those constraints explicit.
